POTTEE was born out of necessity. When I (Andy) moved in with my partner, her two cats came with her and while I loved the cats, I did not love the smell that came with them. The biggest issue? The litterbox. It smelled so bad it made whatever area it was near uninhabitable for long term human life. I realized if we could fix this problem, life with cats could be much better for everyone.

We tried every solution: high-walled boxes, boxes covered with flap doors, even a DIY cabinet with a maze of carpet for the cats to clean their feet and minimize air circulation thus containing the smell. Nothing worked. One cat still managed to pee up over the edge of the plastic bin in the cabinet, and the smell returned.

When I couldn’t find anything on the market that fit the bill, I built it myself. I decided to create the ultimate litterbox. Durable, easy to clean, odor-free, fits the cat better. After experimenting with prototypes, the POTTEE was born—a sleek, stainless-steel litterbox that’s sturdy, easy to clean, and built to last.
